| 17th April | At 2am, we
were already in the car, heading towards London! For one
hour, my father and I were completely lost, while trying
to find the house where Rev. Tanne Zadock was staying.
Because of this, we almost lost the flight, but thank God
by 6:50 we were on the aeroplane! After two hours and a
croissant, we arrived in France. After that, we needed to
wait for another flight to Douala, Cameroon! Six hours,
this time! I watched TV, ate a little, and also slept a
short while! Finally, we arrived in Douala at 4:30pm. It was super! The countryside was really very beautiful. It took another 4 hours before we arrived at our destination. But in the car, it was "amazing"!!! We saw many the things that were very strange: for example the large markets all around a "roundabout", many people carrying things on their head, minibuses full of young people, and with others on the back of the minibus, hanging off! It was very amusing. By 5:30 or 6pm, it was already completely dark, and yet the night was so alive with many many people outside selling and laughing, music! Such a different atmosphere to anything I've ever known, and yet so lovely! However, there were quite a lot of problems getting me a room, but finally we managed and I gratefully went to sleep. |
Deux
heures du matin, et nous sommes deja dans le voiture,
conduirant vers Londres! Pendant un heure, mon pere et
moi etions completement perdu, en essayant de suivre la
maison de Rev. Tanne Zadock. A cause de ça, en avait
presque manque le vol, mais oh la la! 6:50 at nous etions
sur l'aeroplane! Apres deux heures et un croissant, nous
sommer arrives a France. Plus, il ya fallu quon
prenderait un autre vol jusqu'a Douala, Cameroon! Six
heures, cet fois! J'avais regardee la tete, mangee un peu
et dormi un petit peu! Finalement, nous etions arrivees a
Douala a 4:30pm C'etait super! La compagne est vraiment trop belle. C'etatit pleusieurs 4 heures avant que nous sommes arrivees a la destination. Mais dans la voiture, c'etait "stupéfier"!!! Nous avons vus beaucoup des choses tres bizarre, comme pour example les grands marquettes tait sur un "roundabout". Beaucoup jeunes qui marche avec les choses sur la tete, les minibus avec trop de jeunes et quelques qui monte sur le doe du minibus, hanging off! C'etait trop amusante. A 5:30 ou 6pm, il était déjà complètement foncé, mais la nuit était si vivante avec la vente extérieure de beaucoup de beaucoup de gens et rire, musique! Une atmosphère si différente à quelque chose que j'ai jamais su, mais si beau! Cependant, il y avait énormément de problèmes m'obtenant une salle, mais finalement nous avons contrôlé et je suis avec reconnaissance allé dormir. |

Je me suis reveille a 8:30
am avec le soliel que tombe surmon lit. Le view dahors
etait belle, et j'etait contente. Apres une douchefroide,
je me suis senti mieux! Zadock est arrives vers onze
heure, quand nous avons quitte L'hotel Paramont. Au
debut, nous avons achete une carte pour mon telephone
portable donc j'ai pu telephone a ma famille et a Darryl!
Ils etaient content. Puis Zadock et moi ont alle cherches
des fruits. Nous avons achetes beaucoup mango, guava,
popo et beaucoup d'euitre, que n'etaient pas du tout
chere! Les fruits, nous avons mange a la maison d'une
femme Anglais, que etait, lie's sympa et qui s'apelle
Jane. Les fruits etait delicieux! En retournee a Buea,
nous avons un autre hotel pour moi, l'un qui etait 1,000
CFr mains chere, et qui avait du lumiere!! L'autre
n'avait pas! En ce moment, je suis sur la terasse, et je
regarde la vie jolie et ....! Je ne peut pas ecrire tous
ce que qui je vas. En bas il ya des jeunes qui traverse
avec les choses et les arbes sur la tete, le petit
chevre, qui nmarche a cote de la petite riviere. Pleine
des arberes de palmes et les maisons jolie, qui sommes
fait avec du boit et au naturelle. Et si je lever mes
yeux, je vas une tres grand belle montagne, sur llequel
j'habite. Il ya un peut clle nouges qui passe devant la

bien sur les enfants contents qui rire. J'adore cette vie. Ensuite, nous sommer allons visiteun soeur de Zadock, qui habite pres de mon hotel. Elle s'apelle Regina, et elle est une fenirue tres belle et sympa. Mais c'etait tres triste pour moi. Le village cir elle habite est allez grand et tois les maison. Mais c'est plus qu'um 'shed' avec un table, pas de lits, pas de chaises. Il n'yavait plus. 1 Puis nous sommes alles a un petit restaurant. Ou j'avais mangee omeletee et frites. C'etait bien mais un peu chand pour moi! Puis je suis rentree a l'hotel, lire un peu et bien dormi. |

Ce matin,
je me suis levee a 8:30 am, et il y avait Regina qui est
arrivee a neuf heures. Nous sommes allees a sa maison
ensemble, ou j'avais vu tois ses copains. Puis, on
penderais un taxi jusqu'a L'orphanage HOTPEC pour 800 CFa
(€1.25/8FF). C'etait trop chere, mais a carte de la
fait que je suis le seule 'homee blanc' dans un communite
noir, tous le monde croire que j'ai beaucoup plus argent!
Alors, je suis arrivee, finalement, a le centre. J'ai vu
tous les enfants avec qui je vais travaille pendant les
duex mois prochaines. Ils sont trop mignons et beau! J'avais perler avec la crasse de plus de trentes enfants noirs qui a 3 ans jusqu'a 13 ans. Ils avaient chanter pour moi, et c'etait trop bonne, j'avais un peu commences a pleurait. C'etait vraiment trop beau, l'ecouter de tais les enfants qui chant avec des yeux grands. Je vouleis donne d'armour a chaqun. C'est tres triste parce-ce qu'ils sont tous les enfants sans parents. Il y a beaucoup d'enfants qui etait lasse sur la rue par des parents sans couers. Quelque a disabilities, par example petit, petit jambes et braas, epilepsy, quelques n'a aucun problem et sont tres intelligent. Mais il fault dire que tais les enfants sont vraiment jolie et beau avec un couer d'or et je ne comprends pas comments ces parents peuvent tes lasse comme. ça. Quand l;es enfantson fini les classes, il veni dehors. 1 Puis Zadock, m'a prenez a 'Limbe', ou se traire l'ecole Francais, dans lequel je vais aussi apprener. C'etait un petit, mais jolie ecole, qui consiste de 200 enfants. Les enfants n'etait pas la, parce-ce que l'ecole etait fin, mais il y avait tons les professeurs la, qui m'a explique un peu de l'ecole on a decides que vais etre professeur la mardi et jeudi chaque semaine et et a Hotpec, lundi, mercredi et vendredi. Puis on est rentree a Limbe. Zadock et moi avez visite le Botanic Gardens, un region plus touristique, sur la plage. Il y avait un jolie restaurant ou les jeunes importantes mange. Alors, j'ai mange la!! C'etait grilledsteack et frites - delicieux! Au centre-ville, j'ai vu le pere de Beatrice, il a quatre femmes!! Puis, nou somme ventre a beua dans un minbus et je me suis couchee dan le meme hotel, L'hotel Fraicheure. |
